IMPORTANT NOTICE: HDR Darkroom beta test version 1.1 is ready for download. The 1.1 version is based on a range of feedbacks from our users. Thank you very much for helping us improving the software. In the new version, the following points have be addressed and we are looking forward to your continues feedbacks.


1.   Batch processing
2.   Image can be save as Tiff 16bit format
3.   The rotate problem is fixed
4.   "Save" and "Save as" feature is re-designed
5.   When save images, an name based on input files is automatically suggested for you
6.   The input image file names are displayed in a simple way as at the bottom of the software so that you know which files you are working on.
7.   Allow users to input exact number when adjusting parameters.
8.   Add the “close image file” function
9.   Other bugs relevant with stability are fixed



Another important news is that we have invented a very nice alignment technology. We have tested the technology in many cases and it works much better than current ones .We are working hard to add this technology into HDR Darkroom beta test version 1.2, which will be ready for download within around 2 weeks.

After a few months of hard work our HDR Darkroom 1.0 Windows beta test version is finally available to the public. No matter if you are a professional photographer or you are a newcomer to HDR photography, please feel free to download our HDR Darkroom 1.0 beta version and test our innovative technology.

HDR Darkroom packages two patented sophisticated Local Tone Mapping Engines for your preference no matter you like surreal HDR effect or photo-realistic/natural result. One is called Local Tone Balancer, which aims to provide more surreal HDR effect. The other is called Local Tone Enhancer, which is oriented to provide more photo-realistic/natural result.

Double choices: HDR Darkroom can deliver both surreal HDR result and photo-realistic/natural HDR result for your HDR photography using two patented innovative Local Tone Mapping technologies. Local Tone Balancer is used for more surreal HDR looking while Local Tone Enhancer is aimed to provide more photo-realistic/natural HDR looking. Installation instructions for HDR Darkroom 1.0 Windows beta test version:
  
Unzipping the download file and then double clicking the Setup icon, HDR Darkroom will be automatically installed on your computer ,assuming .net framework has been installed on your computer already. This process will take a few minutes as Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Blueistributable Package (x86) will be installed automatically.  Please be patient during this time.

If you have not yet to install .net framework on your computer, our setup process will inform you to install .net framework first. You can obtain .net framework 2.0 or above at:

to install .net framework 2.0 or above

After you have installed .net framework , double click the Setup icon to install HDR Darkroom.
